Breakfast at Tiffany's

Holly is not a sociopath, but she is definately a little broken.

Certainly the wacky directorial style of Blake Edwards (most famous for the Pink Panther series of films) comes through, particular in the party scenes and with the reporters in the police station, but most strikingly in the casting of Mickey Rooney as Mr Yunioshi, which now comes off as mildly offensive.

Most offensive is the line about "I love you - I own you". Really sours the ending of an otherwise entertaining movie.

Features the most well trained cat in cinema history. Not only did it get very wet on cue, but then was crushed between two people, without complaint!

Next Movie: Repo Man

GRANT SAYS: Actually I would still go for Mickey Rooney's "oh so funny" Chinese caricature as the most offensive thing in the movie by far. I loathe Breakfast At Tiffanys because of it.
